Tenor Roger Honeywell returns to the Academy of Music stage once more this
season after his performance as Lieutenant Pinkerton in this fall’s Madama
Butterfly
.  In Tea, he sings the role of the Prince, a role he first sang at the
opera’s American Premiere in 2007 with Santa Fe Opera.

Margaret Garner in 2006, returns to Philadelphia for another East Coast Premiere, this time as the Princess Lan.

Baritone Haijing Fu makes his long-awaited return to Philadelphia as Seikyo, a role he created for the opera's
World Premiere in Tokyo in 2002 and, among other appearances, again in Santa Fe for the American Premiere in 2007.
Here Seikyo battles with the Prince, tenor Roger Honeywell, over the Book of Tea.
