Jonathan Neumann is a dynamic fundraising leader with a rich and varied background that spans performance, education, and arts management. He has held arts leadership positions from coast to coast and has served organizations including the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Boston University Tanglewood Institute, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and Chorale, and most recently Alonzo King LINES Ballet. Jonathan has been fortunate to work with individual and institutional supporters at all levels and has deep experience partnering with boards, curating special events, and overseeing development communications—all with an eye toward building sustainability and a culture of philanthropy within the arts ecosystem.

A singer by training, Jonathan found his appreciation of music at a young age and has performed with organizations including Central City Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, and Odyssey Opera of Boston. He has sung roles in collaboration with contemporary composers including Jake Heggie, Tobias Picker, and the late Stephen Paulus, was previously on the vocal faculty of Boston University Tanglewood Institute, and has taught classroom and private voice at the University level.

Jonathan holds degrees in voice and opera performance from Baylor University, Boston University, and the Boston University Opera Institute.
