Hirst meets the Howells in Ariadne auf Naxos

In a battle for the audience’s attention, low-art and high-art are forced to share the stage. In a creatively modernized take on this tale, the conceptual artwork of Damien Hirst is parodied right alongside Gilligan and the Skipper for an unlikely juxtaposition that honors the opera with class and humor.
