Members of the Opera Philadelphia Chorus, the Teen Voices of the City Ensemble, and other Opera Philadelphia friends such as The Bearded Ladies and the Marian Anderson Museum and Historical Society will be busy this season spreading holiday cheer throughout the city. Music of Stillness & Christmas Dreams

The Penn Chorale, conducted by Opera Philadelphia Chorus Master Elizabeth Braden, presents "Music of Stillness & Christmas Dreams" on Sunday, December 3.
The concert opens with the words "There will be rest…and the music of stillness, holy and low" and closes with this text: "What dreams may come, both dark and deep… as I surrender unto sleep." And in between, we sing of Christmas, and of winter – familiar carols, and newer works blended into a dreamy Christmas afternoon.
All are welcome to attend this free concert!

This event is meant to bring communities and community-based choirs, great pastors across Philadelphia, praise dancers, and many instrumental artists together in the Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall for an annual celebration of worship and music.
