Between the Notes: La Traviata

Join renowned dramaturg Cori Ellison (American Lyric Theater; Vocal Arts Faculty, The Juilliard School) as she asks the question, "What did Verdi mean when he called La traviata 'a subject for our times?'" She will discuss how the composer’s unforgettable musical portrait of a contemporary woman who challenged the limits of her society reaches back to ancient myth and forward to the present day.
