Between the Notes: Tosca

Join dramaturg Julia Bumke to go between the notes of Tosca. By juxtaposing canonical pieces like Tosca and La bohème with contemporary works including Written on Skin, Denis & Katya, and Sky on Swings, Julia will examine what makes death such a musically compelling subject through the ages, and why opera is so uniquely suited to grappling with grief and loss.
