Between the Notes: Oedipus Rex + Lilacs

Between the Notes will now be taking place only as a virtual event on Wednesday, January 12. The in-person lecture scheduled for January 11 has been cancelled. If you RSVP'd for January 11, your registration will be moved to January 12 and you will receive the Zoom link prior to the event. This lecture will be recorded and shared with all members.

Join Dr. Lily Kass, our Scholar in Residence for the 2021–2022 Season, to go between the notes of Oedipus Rex + Lilacs, two unique works that deal with the processing of loss. Dr. Kass will provide historical context for these two works and then explore them through guided listening exercises that aim to sharpen audience members' attention to detail as well as encourage personal interpretation. The lecture will end with an open question-and-answer session.
