Composer In Residence Program
Witness the artistic method when acclaimed soprano Dawn Upshaw leads a unique master class showcasing solo works in process from Opera Philadelphia Composers in Residence Missy Mazzoli, Andrew Norman, and David T. Little. A longtime advocate of new music, Ms. Upshaw will facilitate a dialogue between each composer and performer, revealing the composition process to the audience and providing a vital step in the artistic development of each composer. Scheduled performers include young artists Lauren Eberwein, Emily Pogorelc, Jazimina MacNeil, and Evan LeRoy Johnson from the Curtis Institute of Music, accompanied by Lisa Keller on piano.
