Double Exposure
Double Exposure is a unique, opera-in-the-making event that spotlights two of the company’s Composers in Residence: David T. Little and David Hertzberg. Enjoy scenes by both composers that are each staged twice by two different casts of singers, led by stage directors Daniel Ellis and R.B. Schlather. These mini-productions are vivid, imaginative, and allow both the composers and the audience to see how different directors and performers may interpret the same pieces of music.
Join us after the performance for a reception, where you can meet the composers and share feedback about the operas.
Featuring Kyle Bielfield, Andrew Bogard*, Christian Bowers, Roy Hage*, Samantha Hankey, Johnathan McCullough, Ashley Milanese, Heather Phillips, Emily Pogorelc, and Thomas Shivone. With conductors Robert Kahn and Edward Poll, and Grant Loehnig and Ting Ting Wong on piano.
