First time at the opera? Here are the ins and outs of this amazing art form.
Whether you're driving, walking, or taking SEPTA, find the best way to get here and where to park.
Not sure what to wear? We always recommend that you dress for your comfort. While gowns and tuxedos are certainly not required, wear what you’d usually wear for a night out on the town, whether that’s a sport coat, dress, or your favorite pair of dressy jeans and a sweater. You’ll see a wide array of clothes at the opera!
Coat Check is available on the first floor just off the main lobby. The entrance to coat check is near the Ladies’ Room.
Snacks and beverages are available for purchase at bars located on each floor of the theater before the show and at intermission. Or, visit one of General Director David Devan's favorite restaurants in the area for dinner.
We follow a strict no-late-seating policy, so please be on time for the opera. The curtain goes up promptly at 8:00 p.m.! If you’re late, you won’t get into the theater to see the entire opera.
